Level of French required

French skills are required for all applications.

Various tests (TCF: Test de Connaissance du Fran?ais) or diplomas (DELF: Dipl?me d'études en langue fran?aise or DALF: Dipl?me approfondi de langue fran?aise) are available to certify that your language level is sufficient.

Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University accepts the following tests and results:

? Application for 1st year of Bachelor’s degree
  • TCF DAP | French language test for Preliminary Admission Application: Level B2 with an average of 10 required as minimum
  • DELF B2 minimum
? Application for 2nd and 3rd year of Bachelor’s degree
  • Level B2 is mandatory: DELF B2 or DALF
? Application for Master’s degree
  • Level C1 is mandatory
? Application for DUT (two-year technical degree)
  • Level C1 is mandatory
